My name is Ms. Citro and I am currently teaching 4th Grade at Kennedy School. I have a passion for teaching and love seeing my students' faces when they realize that what they once found difficult is now intuitive.


As a teacher, I believe that the future of my students relies on me. I should be able to understand each student as an individual and be able to teach them the same material in different ways. In my opinion, a fair teacher is one who gives each student the opportunity to learn in their own way. Teachers are models for their students; therefore, if I wish that my students act in a certain way, I need to portray this characteristic in my everyday life. 


I have high expectations for my students as well as for myself. I make it a point to have my students believe that anything is possible as long as they try their hardest.

 
Additionally, I believe that parents are the biggest part in a student’s education. If parents show concern in their child’s progress, then the child will demonstrate similar concerns. I will contact you, as parents, on occasion, but please feel free to contact me when questions or concerns arise.
