Mrs. LeJeune's Social Studies Class

At the S.T.E.A.M. Academy, students will engage in an authentic learning experience integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics into a dynamic and innovative curriculum. In our social studies class, we will study the rich history of the United States. We will tackle real-world problems through hands-on projects and research-based learning.

Our students will take on the roles of artists, writers, historians, inventors, and engineers as they develop creative solutions to complex challenges. The learning environment will be collaborative, with most activities centered around meaningful, inquiry-based group projects.

Students will learn to think critically, solve problems, and participate in highly engaging discussions, activities, and workshops. Together with the other S.T.E.A.M. teachers, I will create a supportive space that fosters academic achievement, social development, and personal growth.
