Welcome

My name is Natalie Careccia, and this is my 12th year teaching at Kennedy School, and in the North Bergen School District. I graduated from William Paterson University in 2010 with a BA in Elementary Education and Psychology with a Dual Teaching Certification: Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Elementary Education K-6.
I earned my MA in Special Education in 2022 and hold a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDT-C) Certification.

As a teacher, I am preparing future generations to accomplish their life goals, and to understand the world in which they live. I chose to become a teacher, because I want to experience the joy of watching children learn. I want to make a difference in their lives, by providing an education that is positive and memorable. The role of an effective teacher is to make learning fun, creative, and personal. A positive learning environment is beneficial to both the educator and his/her students.

There is a strong connection between family involvement in schools and childrens' academic achievement. It's essential to encourage families to get involved in the school community. Be sure to join us at school events and activities!

My Teacher Resolution: To ensure an education that focuses on students' individual strengths, goals, and interests, in order to reach full contentment in a personal, social, and knowledgeable manner.
