Welcome to 3rd Grade with Ms.Tavarez!

Hello Families!

My name is Ms. Tavarez, and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher! This is my second year at Kennedy School, and I can't wait for another amazing year. I graduated from New Jersey City University with degrees in Elementary Education and Sociology. I also have six years of experience working with students from kindergarten through middle school, and this year I'll be starting my master's program to become a Reading Specialist. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels safe, supported, and excited to learn. I look forward to working together to help your child have a successful and memorable school year! Mi nombre es Ms. Tavarez y estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de 3.er grado de su hijo(a). Este será mi segundo año en la Escuela Kennedy, ¡y estoy feliz de regresar para otro gran año! Me gradué de New Jersey City University con una licenciatura en Educación Primaria y Sociología. Además, tengo seis años de experiencia trabajando con estudiantes desde kínder hasta escuela intermedia, y este año comenzaré mi maestría para convertirme en Especialista en Lectura. Mi objetivo es crear un salón de clases donde todos los estudiantes se sientan seguros, apoyados y motivados para aprender.
