On Friday, September 24, NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough, Megan McArthur and Mark Vande Hei will answer prerecorded video questions from students for 20 minutes, sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. EDT (specific time to follow!). The downlink is a collaborative effort of NASA CCRI teachers at each school, including our NASA CCRI Education Ambassador, Mrs. Stern-Protz from the STEM Academy. This is a reflection of the great diversity here in New York City and New Jersey. With NASA TV, and Livestream, the downlink will reach more than 4,350 high school students and 400 educators serving students from numerous backgrounds and diverse interests. With the worldwide availability of NASA TV and Livestream, the larger event has the potential to reach over 15,000 viewers across our region, and numerous families and viewers around the world.
