Pomales Spanish Class 1-1-107 Assignments

This activity involves students identifying types of fruits in the target language Spanish. During this project students will build their fruit basket. After placing the fruits in the basket, students will label the names of the fruits in spanish language. First, watch the video on how to draw a 

fruits  basket. 
Second, color the fruits and the bowl.
Lastly, label the fruits in Spanish. 

Let’s begin learning the Spanish numbers for 1-10:

Vocabulary of fruits and vegetables. Aprender el vocabulario de las verduras en español y saber las diferencias entre frutas y verduras.

First, practice the vocabulary using the flash card (Spanish and English).
Second, practice the vocabualry using Learn. 
Third, write the vocabulary using write.

Four, practice the language using Spell. 
Lastly, do the test.

Matcht the correct picture with the vegatable word. Watch the video to learn  the vegetable vocabulary.

This project requires students to create a family tree and then describe their family tree in complete Spanish sentences. Instructions: Your task is to create a poster with a family tree. On a separate piece of paper, you will write
information about each family member. This information will later be glued to the back side of your family tree
poster. See the requirements below for what must be included in the writing. You will turn in both the family tree
project and the descriptions of your family members.
Requirements:
- Make a design of your family tree on large construction paper. You may bring photos of your family members to add to your tree, or draw
them, or simply write their names artfully in your tree. Be creative!
- You must include at least 3 generations of family members, and include yourself. Family members must be in sequential order.
Grandparents should be at the top of your tree, and you and your sisters/brothers should be towards the bottom of your tree.
- For every member of the family tree, you need to neatly write on a separate piece of paper the following information. Then glue it to the
back of your family tree.
-The person’s name
-The person’s relationship to you,
-The person’s age,
-2 physical description and 2 personality traits.
-2 likes and 2 dislikes

Marking Period Project- Life Cycle plate (Butterfly).
First, color each stage of the butterfly.

Second, cut each stage of the butterfly.
Third, glue each stage on the plate and connect each stage wit arrow
Latsly, write each stage in Spanish.

First, take a look at the images in the worksheet. Then, just find out what the proper name for each of these classroom objects in Spanish is. If you are a student, please try to identify the color of each object and make sentences with them just like the ones on the bottom of the worksheet.

Marking Period Project- Create a puppet (All about Me)

First: Use the paper bag to design or create your puppet 
Second: Use the all about me description to design your puppet
Third: Take a picture of the paper puppet and upload it to Google Classroom

They will practice identifying these terms and using them in conversational sentences.
