Hello parents my name is Mr. Rodriguez I will be teaching grade 6 Special Education Science and Math is here at Kennedy School. Welcome and thank you for joining me. Let me tell a little bit about myself graduated out of college with a B.A. in Communication Arts and then I went on to further my education I got a Master's in Special Education as a Special Education instructor challenges are part of our daily daily, daily environment as we go so I'm very intrigued disabilities and often do challenges that face to face if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me several ways of doing this perhaps the most simplest and quickest way is to email me or by calling the main office I will have links available for both of these options as a parent myself I also would like to know where can I go to get information for assignments in class activities Japan portals a great source of information itself just be going first but if not my Google Classroom this will suffice as well which has is Simon Cineport announcements daily again I will have available links for both of these options parents this year in math we're using enVision Math along with auto resources and materials and work books have been sent home for assignments we have covered so far adding subtracting decimals dividing whole numbers equations to the Bible's fractions and right now we're at the crossroads of introduction two integers and rational numbers and science so far we've covered the plant kingdom classifying them and the animal kingdom brakes and vertebrates and I also classifying them as well and right now we're at a point where we're at the introduction point to sell in ecosystems both sides in math or assisted with extra help and understanding videos our next item student expectations and homeroom I've kind of morphed together starts at 9 a.m. I take attendance between 9:15 9:20 my students are expected to have cameras on and Mike's on you I want to see one of you know basically participate with something it is a circumstance that a student can not do do this at all for whatever reason please let me know and we will accommodate the student that'll be no problem with that just just let me know is that follows its 100% divided into these segments class participation class homework class assignments and lastly quizzes and tests which all equal percent and that's how the grades are petition Paris I just want to live we're here to make your child's virtual experience one that is enriching engaging and safe course are virtual social emotional Corner available on our website please if you have a chance to go visit for that too parasyte full so included a link with instructions to update information on real time so again I've also left lens for that as well also if you have any questions about accommodations or modifications for your child please contact. 13 at Kennedy School information for that too lastly parents I want to thank you again for helping your children in this epic Sunsational Tan that we're at right now with this virus and pandemic and again I just wanted it parents please stay informed and please stay safe thank you
