My name is Ms. Pena, and I am the new Seventh Grade Math Teacher in Kennedy School. I have been teaching in The North Bergen School District for 18 years. My first twelve years I was a seventh and eighth grade teacher in Robert Fulton School. In 2016 I became a Math coach for the district. Now I am back in the classroom teaching math in the seventh grade. My goal is to help students understand that anyone can do math as long as they understand what it takes and the work that they need to put in. The first day of school we discussed the behaviors needed to be a successful mathematician. The students came up with a lot of great ideas. Look at the link to your right.
